Qualifications

  • Full Membership applicants: Please upload the following documents:
    • Proof of your teaching qualification (ATE Level 3 or above)
    • Proof of your BSL qualification (Level 3 or above from Signature or the Institute of BSL)
  • Associate Membership applicants: Uploading qualifications is not required, but if available, please upload:
    • Proof of your BSL qualification (Level 3 or above from Signature or the Institute of BSL)

Membership Details

Your ABSLTA membership lasts for one year from the day you join. You pay the fee for either Associate or Full Membership.

Note on Fellow Membership: Fellow membership is not available to apply for directly. You must first join ABSLTA as a Full Member before you can apply for Fellow status.

Membership Fees
Fees are reviewed every year and may increase by up to 6% from 1st January.

Complete the application form to receive a payment link from the ABSLTA Team.

NOTES:

If your employer or another party will be paying for your membership, please contact us first to arrange payment before proceeding.

Important: Your application will only be processed once we have checked and approved your qualifications.

Data Protection

Any personal information you provide to ABSLTA will be stored and used in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 to manage your membership.

If you do not give your consent below, we will not be able to process your membership application.
