1. Who can join ABSLTA?
Anyone who is Deaf and teaches or assesses British Sign Language (BSL) can become a member. We offer different membership categories, including Associate, Member, and Fellow, each with its own criteria and benefits.
2. What is ABSLTA?
ABSLTA is a group that helps BSL teachers and assessors. We work to improve BSL teaching and raise awareness about BSL in the UK. We have been running since 1979!

Associate: For those who work in BSL education but don’t yet have a teaching qualification.
